Dr. Daniele Asioli is an Associate Professor in Agri-Food Economics and Marketing at the University of Padua and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Reading. Holding a PhD in Agri-Food Economics and Policy, his research applies behavioral and experimental economics to understand how consumers respond to new food technologies and how these choices impact the broader food supply chain.
A highly cited scholar with over 60 peer-reviewed articles and more than 4,000 citations in leading scientific journals, Dr. Asioli currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics. Beyond his extensive international academic career, which includes a Marie Curie Fellowship and research positions across Europe and North America, he brings practical industry experience to his work through consulting, previous government and marketing roles, and co-directing his family farm.
