NIPE is pleased to announce an online Research Training on Scientific Writing, by Professor Dominika Langenmayr.
The workshop will be broadcast online on the 13th and 16th of September 2022, each of the two days from 09:00 to 11:30 AM.
The research training is directed to all that are interested in learning about Scientific Writing (Professors, Researchers and PhD students).
Course Outline
The class will provide numerous pieces of advises allowing researchers in economics and accounting to make their writing better and more effective. How to write a perfect introduction, how to write an effective conclusion, how to better structure research papers, how to navigate more effectively the publication process, how to better referee, are non-exhaustive examples of the topics that will be covered during this class. Re-writing exercises will be proposed so to apply the tips you learned.
Short bio
Dominika Langenmayr is Professor of Economics at KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, and a CESifo research fellow. She is also part of the DIBT – Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation at WU Vienna. She published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of International Economics, or the Journal of Public Economics. Most of her research is related to Public Finance, and evolves around different aspects of taxation.
