Last October 11th, Fernando Alexandre was in the RTP’s program “É ou não é?”. This program aims to provide a space for debate among the more knowledgeable professionals, where it is intended, according to the television channel, “to promote discussion and dispel doubts”.
Thus, taking into account the current economic context and the current situation of uncertainty that is expected to continue in the next calendar year, NIPE’s Researcher comments on the Budget for the next year, once that according to the State, there will be an increase in salaries in the public service and some changes in the IRS and IRC tables. Also, the Portuguese Government expects a forecast of economic growth. The program equates the way of life with which the Portuguese people will live next year.
RTP presents as a summary, the main question addressed: “Is this or is this not, after all, the right budget for an uncertain year?”
