Ricardo Sousa, NIPE researcher and Professor at the Department of Economics of the School of Economics and Management, received the Best Paper Award at the 29th Economic Research Forum (ERF) Annual Conference. The awarded paper is entitled “Oil shocks and financial stability in Middle East and North Africa countries“, co-written with K. Sohag and A.H. Elsayed.
The conference was held from 4-6 May 2023 in Cairo, Egypt, on the theme “The Future of MENA Development Path: Risks and Opportunities in an Emerging World Order“.
