The PhD thesis “Unha análise socioeconómica da vulnerabilidade en Galicia: o camiño dende a escola até a inserción laboral” written by Bruno Blanco Varela, a student of the University of Santiago de Compostela and supervised by NIPE researcher and EEG professor Paulo Mourão, was distinguished in the category of PhD thesis of the IX Valentín Paz Andrade Prize. This award recognizes research work that allows a better knowledge of the social and economic reality of Galicia and promotes the establishment of better welfare and citizenship policies.
