Francisco Carballo-Cruz, João Cerejeira and Rita Sousa, NIPE researchers and Professors of the Department of Economics of the School of Economics and Management, presented the study “A economia verde e a evolução do mercado de trabalho em Portugal”, on 19 January 2023.
The presentation session took place at Citerforma of the Centre for Labour Relations (CRL), in Lisbon, and had the intervention of the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, and representatives of social partners.
The study aims to contribute to the understanding of the impacts of the decarbonisation process of the economy on employment, identifying the sectors, occupations and characteristics of workers and jobs potentially most affected, through a granular analysis.
