Event summary

The Workshop was jointly organized by CEEG and the Research Division of the University of South Carolina. It was attended by 35 experts from different American, European and Latin American institutions, namely from the Federal Reserve Banks of Boston, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Dallas, Harvard University, University of California at Riverside, University of South Carolina, Eurostat, European Central Bank, University of Brasilia, Autonomous University of Madrid, National Institute of Economic and Social Research (UK), National Institute of Statistics, DE-Ministry of Labor and Solidarity, Department of Prospective and Planning, North Region Coordination Commission, University of Coimbra, University of Minho, etc. The Workshop was co-funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, National Science Foundation, Tinker Foundation Inc., Center for International Business and Education Research at USC, and CEEG-UM.
