Miguel Portela, lecturer at the EEG Department of Economics and NIPE researcher and Director, in collaboration with his EEG PhD student in Economics, Marcos Gabriel Andrade, participated in the book “𝐔𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥? 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐞 𝐥𝐢çõ𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥”, presented on May 27 and published by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation. This study is the result of a partnership between the universities of Aveiro, Coimbra, Lisbon, Minho and Porto, in which is shared a reflection that goes through the uncertainty of the new reality post-covid-19 and what are the challenges to make it better, assessing the impacts and lessons of the pandemic, bringing the economic, social and political challenges that Portugal faces in this new reality.
