The 18th edition of NIPE Summer School took place at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho between 27 and 30 June.
The Summer School is annually dedicated to themes in the field of Economics and Management and it counted with a course of 18 teaching hours that approached the theme “Econometrics of Big Data”, lectured by Christian B. Hansen (Wallace W. Booth Professor of Econometrics and Statistics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business).
The event was organized by members of the Research Unit and supported by its Staff, welcoming 70 participants from 18 different nationalities.
The last day of the course was marked with the presentation of a research paper by the invited speaker and was attended by several EEG faculty members.
