João Pereira dos Santos (ISEG – University of Lisbon). João Pereira dos Santos is a researcher at Queen Mary University of London with an Horizon Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship. He is also an Assistant Professor at ISEG – University of Lisbon (on leave), an IZA research affiliate, and a Kiel Institute for the World Economy research fellow. João is an applied microeconomist with research interests in public, labor, urban economics, and economic history. His work has been published in the European Economic Review, Journal of Urban Economics, Journal of Economic Geography, Public Choice, Economica, and Regional Science and Urban Economics.
