Event summary

CLICTOUR is a project funded by the NORTE2020 Program, developed by the University of Minho (Economy and Geography) with ICNF, specifically with the parks of Gerês, Alvão and Northern Coast, which aims to find solutions to the impacts of climate change and tourism in these areas.

After the closing of CLICTOUR works, and considering the moments of participation that occurred along the project, we hereby invite you to attend the final conference for the presentation of CLICTOUR results, that will take place on the 21st of June in the University of Minho, in Braga.

In this day we will have the presentation of the project video, as well as the detail of the results about climate change effects, and tourism analysis. There will also be a discussion moment in which we will have Turismo Porto e Norte de Portugal, Dr. Paulo Lopes as Greenwalks representative, Dr. Alexandra Roeger vice-president of Esposende City Hall, moderated by Prof. Paula Remoaldo. The session will be opened by the Vice-Rector of UMinho, Professor Eugénio Ferreira, and by Humberto Cerqueira, CCDRN member for Norte2030, and closed by Ms. Sandra Sarmento, Regional Director of ICNF. Additionally, the session will be covered by a number of media outlets.
