The project “1986-2010: The Portuguese Economy in the European Union” brings together researchers from seven Portuguese universities and also includes the participation of Portuguese researchers from foreign universities. Its objective is to assess the transformations of the Portuguese economy in the 25 years of European integration, their causes and possible future consequences.

The official language of the conference is Portuguese, however, all parallel sessions will have one session spoken in English.
